Family Night

My 4 year old is addicted to TV, especially after we went to http://www.tvbydirect.com/ and signed up for new satallite service. The first thing my son asks when we get home is, “Mom, can I watch a little show?” Which in reality translates to, “I want to watch 2 hours of TV and I am going to pitch a fit when you try and turn it off.” We recenly had to enect, “no TV night”, just so we could break him of the habit of always being glued to the telivision. On “no TV night” we love to play games or turn on music and dance. The dancing gene is strong in our family. Well, maybe the desire to dance gene is there but not the actual dancing skill gene. It has become nice just to be able to hang out, talk and have fun. I really think it has brought our family closer together. My son now looks forward to family nights and he has become pretty good at the “funky chicken” as well.

When I first moved here I thought it was going to be all puppies and rainbows and baby smells it was going to be so easy. NOT! Have you ever owned a house that needed renovations? I feel like my entire life is now dedicated to getting this place back in shape and man, there’s nothing like feeling like you’re totally out of touch with all your friends to make you feel pathetic. Suzie called last week to chat and all I wanted to talk about was crown molding and ADT Memphis and I know she’s had just about enough of that. I can’t wait until these renovations are done and we finally get to call it a day and just live here. Coming home from work not having to start some home improvement project sure will be nice but I can’t imagine when that’s ever going to be! There’s something to be said for buying a house that’s 100% totally put together when you move in – it sure would be less stressful.

Life of A Pet Store Owner

I run a pet store here in Atlanta and I don’t know what I’d do with myself if I hadn’t hooked my business up with mobile internet. I have thirteen animals of my own, from dogs to horses to cats to birds, and I love each of them as if they were children. I know what it’s like trying to find that perfect bed or brand of food, so I try to supply my customers with the same value I’m always on the lookout for!
