Wrong again. They’re nice words and everything else that people are saying on here, etc. etc.–but as a HIT SONG it’s a load of crap. Besides the background tune (which is awful), there’s no actual music going on.

At least if it were sung in a melodic way, it’d go some way to redeeming itself as a HIT SONG. So in the end, that’s what I’m criticising it for–as a hit song. As a speech, it’s ‘cute’ at best (if people are that easily inspired), but not deserving of being revered as a classic SONG.

I am going to agree to disagree with you on this. I never said it was a classic but I have always liked the message. Don’t blame the song for being a hit. It is the public and marketing that made it so.

Missing the point….BIGTIME.
The point is the lyrics. If you try to incorporate as much of it as you caninto your life, I think you will be more happy.

There may be those people that say “fag” in these comments, but they are just showing us how stupid they are…old news.
