Why are British people so hung up on class? Boris, in my mind, and in my memories, represents a snobbish conservative elite who i found truly repulsive during my stay in Britain. Personally, I feel you had a hero and you excommunicated him and demonized him–disgusting1 That here was Galloway and other representatives of the people who got fired by the Blair poodle.

to be honest i used to watch and love all of these shows, but it’s getting to the point where they’ve just become like a form of bullying. some of the things e.g. frankie boyle says would ensure he got the sack from any job, but they are deemed acceptable simply because of his tv status

Bullying shmullying, you can either take a joke or you can’t, and the comment is relevant to his career.
Obviously someone in a joe-job wouldn’t make the kind of comments Frankie Boyle does but that’s because it would be irrelevant.
He makes these comments on TV because his JOB is to make rude comments and make people laugh.

imagine having that job, what an easy life and high salary. being an asshole is now considered a ‘job’ lol.
to be honest i’m kinda sick of seeing the same old cynical twats on these shows: buzzcocks, hignfy, arguemental, quiz of the year, 8 out 10, etc etc. same old guests same old bullshit, they epitomise middle class wankery, and ridicule anyone who isn’t a middle class wanker.
