Do you think the news does a good job of reporting relevant stories?
All the news media have different audiences and approaches to writing stories. With that said what do you think is news worthy? Do you care about celebrities or would you like to hear about more political issues? What would you like to see on the news? Or should the news have a mixture of all so that it is not just one-sided and depressing?

Original Question Do you think the news does a good job of reporting relevant stories? A1: As well as Perez Hilton keeps his cool and Chris crocker makes sense. LOL!
Q2: A2: A murder or robber ect. is in my nieghborhood, Barack Obam actually gets something done, Congress and senate actually represents the people, when David Letterman is fired, Chris Crocker, Perez Hilton,Kanye West, Chris Dodd, and Code pink are locked up in the same padded room.
Q3 A3: I’d like to hear about celebrities that actually are doing something for the country and their community than buying African and chinese babies and getting drunk, I also wish I could hear true political going such as what is in this bill and that bill and stuff like that.
Q4 A4: I would like to see real people talikning about issues
Q5 A5: How about we have real excperts do the specific shows they have insite in from news, politics and ect. and then have straight opinion shows channels where people can get in on it and stuff like that!
The news media doesn’t do relevant stories, it does opinion. If a reporter writes a “relevant article,” he’s asked by his editor, “but what’s the slant?” Wake up, it’s just called the media now, because news was dropped from it’s title years ago.
News are just to entertain you!
Because you never know when the information
is true or false. I saw a lady reading a magazine
and on itit said that America now doesnt have no border
with Mexico, I laughed at it but she turned and said it’s true and
that she read it on the internet too.
We are people who get fooled by most news
but yet there are important information too..
So I cant really judge it!
The old newspaper saying that bad news sells papers applies to the video news culture we have today. If a story is worthy enough to the public is will draw viewers who are then exposed to the advertising on this channel which does pay the station. Thus what draws the public’s attention the best is what determines which stories are produced.
This nation has become a nation predominately of voyeurs of the rich and powerful. The grubbier the story the bigger the headline to get people to watch news or read the paper.
If you have not guessed by now, my opinion is that the news generally does not report relevant stories having an impact upon our lives.
