Fox News Creates Obama Contradiction That Isn’t There?
A lot of people complained about the bias at last week’s ABC debate between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton but it was the same bias you can find at all the major networks, a bias towards controversy, sensationalism, superficiality, and corporatism. Fox News, in contrast, has all those same biases as the other networks, but has, in addition, a clear ideological bias I’ve documented in dozens of youtube videos in which Fox distorts the facts to help the right or hurt the left. Fox provided a good example of such bias in its coverage of last week’s ABC debate when Fox deliberately misinterpreted an ambiguity in something Obama said, quoted it out of context, and created a contradiction that wasn’t there, as I show in this video. You can find the rest of the April 16, 2008, ABC Democratic debate from which I took a clip for this video on the ABC website at: abcnews.go.com You can find more of Obama’s April 17, 2008, statement about the debate from which I took a clip for this video at: www.youtube.com And, you can find DOZENS of more examples of Fox News bias on my Fox News bias playlist on youtube at: www.youtube.com

@AmericanMega: how is showing the full clip being manipulative?
Obama is a racist and a communist and liberal viewr is just another of his henchmen trying to manipulate us but we are not fooled. You liberals are total losers.
@Gravelandart white people murder blacks too douchbag
White people are being murdered by blacks everyday. Why doesn’t FOX or the rest of the mainstream media talk about this?
The funniest thing about this clip is the random shots of mexicians crossing the border. Such funny fearmongering.
Yeah NPR is good
Like anyone would have done any better… :/
lol its all good man the media totally sucks
this is old. if america knew then what we know now, he wouldn’t be prez. Independent America has lost hope in this administration.
thanks for the hope and change…

my penis is in love with Megyn Kelly.
I absolutely believe that the Fox edit is misleading. It paints President Obama as a usual career-politican, avoiding the “tough questions.” He corrected himself. Now, I don’t think that’s Obama’s finest hour, he doesn’t sound sincere when he says he “disowned the comments.” However, you have to see that in order to decide that for yourself. If I were not for the fact this network is watched as much as it is, I wouldn’t ever turn the station on.
Yes, but Obama still contradicted himself, whether or not he disowned Reverend Wright or his comments. So I don’t think George’s follow up question makes a difference.
If this “Liberal Viewer” really wants to benefit the American people he should just post videos of whole speeches and let people decide what they believe. What he’s doing now just equals what all the other “biased” news networks do.
@maxxy6330 Why watch a British network for American news? That right there is gonna be wacked out as well.
Fox news is not supposed to be “a party”, it supposed to be a “fair and balanced” news organization- thats the whole point. More than half of Americans get the news mainly from Fox, the distortions and bias are embarrassing to call news, which is why this Fox news critic is doing a service as a watchdog
BBC is also biased.
All news networks distort the facts in order to promote their own particular ideologies.
Fox news is always “fair and balanced”, thats why there NUMBER ONE in the world!
Fox news works hard for GOP. Its not easy to distort facts.
Shhhhh….. Fox news dick riders are about. You see it is okay to use free speech to bash liberals; but it is not okay to bash republicans with free speech. Just like it is okay for the republican national committee to go to Hawaii; but it’s not okay for Obama to go to Hawaii. You see fair and balanced.
@mattlamb76 except that fox needs discrediting while the other networks…don’t as much.
If you want real unbiased news: BBC
I don’t care to watch any news channel because they’re all biased. One thing you guy’s don’t seem to understand is fox news slogan fair and balanced, doesn’t mean every single reporter is unbiased. The reason they say they are fair and balanced is because they try to have the different sides to every discussion as often as they can possibly do it. On that note, I still don’t like watching only fox news, or msnbc, or cnn, or abc… Watch them all, it’s dangerous to trust in only 1 view point
You claim of one party discrediting the other, but isn’t your entire channel dedicated to discrediting fox news? A little hypocritical don’t you think?
