What should I do for my Sports Medicine article?

I am in sports medicine for my school and part of the class is that i have to write an article about something related to sports medicine. I can’t think of anything to do. This time around, we do not have a topic to go off of so anything would work. The audience that this would be going to is the whole school.

April Fools jokes: Sports Illustrated “Sidd Finch” article ranks among best
The Sports Illustrated article about a fictional character, Sidd Finch , remains one of the best sports pranks ever played in honor of April Fool’s Day. If you’re like me, you were probably in kindergarten when this happened in 1985.

News Headlines – News Article Guidelines

Good news headlines are not difficult to write but they do need to catch the attention of the reader.  When you have information about your company that is new to the public, you should write a news article about this and post it on a press release distribution site.  This is not difficult to do and you just have to follow basic journalism rules.

Whether you are starting a new company or if you have a company that is already launched and you want to talk about a certain product, you can create news headlines that are eye catching and will make people want to read more of the news article that you have written.  You can post this online and bring readers to your website through this internet marketing tool.  It is essential that you provide as much information as possible when you are writing a news article so that you do not leave the reader guessing.  This includes the name of the company that is launching the product, the contact information and perhaps a few quotes from a company official.

If you are posting a news article on a press release distribution site, then you need to come up with snappy news headlines that will make people sit up and take notice.  The news headlines are what people notice when they are taking a look at the news.  The headlines will catch their eye and make them want to read more.  Thus, this is the most important aspect of any bit of journalism.  You need to have snappy news headlines that are not only appealing and interesting to the public, but are also current and have to do with something that creates a sense of urgency in the reader that makes them want to read the news article.

The basic components of a news article should apply.  You want to put as much of the current information into the front of the article as you can so that you can get the attention of the reader right away.  You can save the last of the news article to give information that relates to the company as well as an update on previous information.  You should always provide contact information when you are posting these types of articles on press release distribution sites so that the reader knows where to go to find out more.  Unlike other articles that are written online, when you are using news articles, they can provide the reader with company information.  However, an article should not appear as a sales pitch in any way.  It should relate to something current and newsworthy to the public.

Creating snappy hews headlines is easy, you just have to go online and see which headlines grab your own attention. Once you get used to writing these headlines as well as articles, you will find a whole new avenue of internet marketing open to you that you might otherwise have previously ignored.  This is not difficult to do and only requires a basic knowledge of the language as well as basic grammatical skills.

If you want to grab the attention of a reader, you need to do so with snappy news headlines.

How To Write A News Article And News Article Headlines

Writing a news article is not difficult.  The fundamental aim of a news article is to put all of the pertinent information in the front of the article so that the reader can read it right away. Of course, in order to capture the attention of the reader, you need to have snappy news article headlines.

Writing news article headlines that are eye grabbing is an art form all unto itself.  Most editors of papers have the honors of writing these headlines that are designed to make the reader want to read the news article.  The reader is intrigued by the headline and then logs onto the article to read a bit more.  Of course, even the most eye-catching of all news headlines need to have a good news article behind it.  This means that all of the information should be clear to the reader and should live up to the headline of the article.

Writing news articles is not difficult.  You just need to have the news that you are providing to the public on hand and relate it to them in an up front way, preferably in the first paragraph of the article.  You want to make sure that the reader gets all of the latest and most current news of the news article right away in the first paragraph.  If there is related information, such as a background of the story that is to be told, it should be told in the following paragraphs.   Your news article should coincide with what you state in your news headlines.

You should also add quotes when you are writing news articles.  Quotes should be from those who are related to the industry.  When you use quotes, they should be exact quotes and you need to attribute them accurately to the person who said them.  You want to be sure that you spell the name of any person who you quote in the article correctly as well as any other names in the news article.  Misspelling a name is the mortal sin of anyone who writes a journalistic article so be sure to double check names when it comes to spelling.

You also need to be sure that your facts are accurate when you are writing news articles as well as news headlines.  You do not want to mislead the reader.  Your news article should be timely as well as something that will interest the reader.  Once you write the article, you can then look for online distribution places where you can place the article so that others can also see it.  You should take a look at the guidelines of these  online sites and follow them accordingly, providing them with as much information as you can and double checking any spelling as well as the name of products, companies or any other information that you are providing to the public in your article.  The more accurate and well-written the, the more the public will trust the information that is provided to them in the article.

If you are looking for a way to grab the attention of the public when you write a news article, you need to use good news headlines.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly : a Sporting Clays Article

For those of you who believe this coach steps into the box and always gets it right, I only wish it were so. I attended a local tournament this past week-end. No, it wasn’t a disaster; it only felt that way at the time.

The cold and rain was not a significant problem except I left my heavy wool sweater in my vehicle when Gary picked me up at our usual meeting spot. After shooting the 5-Stand the rain turned to a downpour so everyone huddled. My hands were numb and I was well past chilled. Finally, it cleared enough to get our squad on its way. Waiting for the trapper and scorekeeper, the rain began again. We were relieved when the 4-wheeler pulled up, only to discover he had the wrong score cards.

Stepping into the box, I was still trying to center myself. At my call, the split pair raced down the hill. My gun doubled on the first target and it may have been from cold fingers. A bit shaken and wondering what the next pair would bring, I reloaded. All went well through the next three pairs until someone noticed that the trapper wasn’t throwing the targets on the menu.

I stepped out of the box.

We all started over.

At the next field, cold and preoccupied with my frustrations, I lost track of the target order. I was prepared for a simultaneous pair when the trapper, (who’d thrown the wrong targets on the previous field) mistakenly threw the first bird of a report pair. I held my fire and questioned the presentation. A report pair was the correct presentation. Lost, lost. I broke my own rule; always shoot first and ask questions later. And so it went.

I’m a firm believer in finding something positive in your round, even when it may seem impossible. Determined to learn something from the experience, I processed the day’s events while driving home and well into the next day.

I’m not proud of what I uncovered but I felt it worth a second look…..

Sporting clays continues to be an elegant sport born of long tradition, fulfilling our wingshooting passion to experience the wing and shot. Feather and clay, inescapably tied, grants us so many learning opportunities to hone our skills, a path of personal growth that affords us a refreshing, unbiased look at ourselves. Time and again, my students have learned how entirely more capable they are than once thought. The American sporting clays shooter can honestly and proudly say, in a very short period, he has indeed advanced to take his rightful place among the best in the world. And, let’s not forget, no one is having more fun out here than you and I are.

The events, times, places and persons in my articles are all true. While I changed a name here and there, 100% of the information came from my experiences with you. Each tournament, each lesson, each experience with you generated the material for my work. I am grateful.

We hope you enjoyed the first part of the article and will visit us online to browse the numerous collection that is available. Until then, happy Sporting!
