What is running through Tiki Barber's head now?
He left mostly because of Caughlin. now look where the Giants are. Guess he isn't so bad after all. Tiki Should of sucked it up. what are your opinions? and what do you think the Giants record would have been with him?
No matter what anybody posts NYG919 needs to get the best answer. thats is just funny!!!!
Because Tiki "I'm gonna retire" "I hate Tom Coughlin" "Wah Wah Wah I'm not into it" Barber should have shup his stupid mouth and played the game he was being paid to do.
He is probably taking a long look at himself as a teamate. He had a lot of talent as a back but according to a lot of the players he was an annoyance in the locker room. It's probably easier for the Giants to work without him.
He may have been a liability. sometimes, that happens.
Look how good the Wizards are doing without their "star," Gilbert Arenas.
The Eagles did well with Garcia in place of McNabb. the Redskins did well with Todd Collins in place of Jason Campbell. the Bears did decent with Griese in place of Grossman.
Funny how good the Giants are today, now that Tiki and Shockey are both gone…Guess neither one was as valuable as was once thought….just goes to show you that there is a lot of talent out there (Think Ryan Grant), and that life goes on…..Tiki is wondering how Strahan got so smart, and how Eli got so good, and how Coughlin got so liked…Glad those two are gone…Wouldn't call them Coach-Killers, but…..
Q: what is running through tiki barber's head now?
A: brandon jacobs and ahmad bradshaw
giants would not have made the playoffs with tiki…but in tiki's mind…they would be the favorites instead of the pats if he was playing.
I believe a hamster on a treadmill is currently running through Tiki's head.
he;s probably thinking "I wonder if jerome the bus betis will date me"////
Wondering which fast food restaurant will hire him or searching for Jimmy Hoffa`s body so he could be there hiding as well. I don`t think Giants record would been much different.
Eli slaps him on the forehead, and tiki thinks to himself"darn i could have had a v8"!!!!!!! make a great new v8 commercial LOL
He is a flop as a broadcaster, so he must be saying I wish I stayed on the team…..
Tiki was always a little overrated, both in his own mind and the media.
I am sure he figures they would have been undefeated if he were there….
This is what's going thru his head.
I think he was doing too much talking while playing for them last year anyways, talking about retiring and all that stuff. He was a distraction, and this year he was motivation for them.
I know Tiki, can't talk right now with his foot in mouth!
Holy crap i should of never quit!
not hair. he is a fool and is eating his words. so much for 80% of the Giants offense being in the studio this season!
What is running through Tiki Barber's head now?

Do you think OKC Thunder will make a trade in the 2011 trade deadline?
If so what trade will they make ?
Last year the Thunder were the 8th seed and they made things tough for the Lakers. This year they have a 3.5 game lead on the 4th seed. They are a very young and talented team but they have also improved a lot from last year to this year, they have a good nucleus but there is no reason for them to make any moves right now.
no they dont need a trade.
Yes, Kevin Durant for SheShe Vujacic
not really, i dont see why they would. they look like a pretty solid team and i like how young they are.
they must trade for tayshaun prince, jeff green and morris peterson is a bait.

Confounding Hawks are a game from making Magic disappear
Joe Johnson: a big game at a big time. (AP photo)
Say what you will about these Hawks, and by now we’ve said it all, usually with a few choice words interspersed. that they’re sloppy with a lead. that they often act as if basketball was a sport scored on degree of difficulty. that they lead the world in keeping both teams in the game.
But here’s something we haven’t been able to say about any Hawks team since 1970: that it leads a best-of-seven series 3-1.
Also this: that it’s one game from winning a playoff series in which it didn’t hold the homecourt edge for the first time since 1996.
Also this: that in taking Game 4 on Sunday it made you want to tear out your hair.
The Hawks are so much better than the Magic that the wonder isn’t that Orlando is facing elimination; the wonder is that the Magic still have a game to play. the Hawks have led by double figures four times running, and in Game 4 they jumped ahead by 16 points on a night when Jason Richardson, Orlando’s second-leading scorer, didn’t play and when Dwight Howard, the only Magic man worth his wizard hat, was in foul trouble inside the first six minutes.
Orlando never led, but inside the final six minutes it was tied. And you noted that the Hawks had limited the Magic to two 3-point baskets — Orlando would finish 2-for-23 — on treys, and you thought, “how in the name of Jumpin’ Joe Caldwell is this even close?”
Had the Hawks blown this one, we’d have cussed and fussed and damned them with the enduring kiss-off: same Old Hawks. But they didn’t lose. They steeled themselves and let Joe Johnson earn some of his $120 million and saw Al Horford again turn Hedo Turkoglu to jelly with the game on the line.
Said Larry Drew, the coach: “this team has shown it can respond to adversity.”
Never mind that much of the adversity is self-inflicted. Never mind that the Hawks haven’t yet found a jump shot not worth taking. Never mind that Josh Smith had one of the least impressive near-double-doubles in playoff annals. Never mind any of that.
Playoff basketball is a bottom-line entity, and the scoreboard tells us that the Hawks lead 3-1 over a team that finished six games ahead of them, the same team — well, the same but different — that once embarrassed them. Should we quibble over style points when these Hawks were beaten by 101 real points over four games by Orlando only last spring?
Said Horford, who poked the ball from Turkoglu on the Magic’s final possession and rendered the subsequent 3-point try another forlorn hope: “the only thing was disturbing about this was that we weren’t able to hold the lead. during the year, we’d probably have lost. that shows poise and growth.”
It does. it also shows that the Hawks, who couldn’t figure a way to match up with the Magic a year ago, now enjoy mismatches all over the place. Horford on Brandon Bass and Ryan Anderson? Johnson on Jason/Quentin Richardson? Jamal Crawford on anybody?
Crawford had 25 points and six assists in Game 4. he has scored at least 20 points in each of the four games. he has become almost as tough a take for Orlando as Howard is for the Hawks. Even as the lead was diminishing and the Hawks were doing their usual goofy stuff, there was one ray of hope: Surely Crawford would think of something.
“Jamal gave it to us for three quarters,” Smith said, “and Joe said, ‘I’ll take it from here.’ ”
Johnson scored the Hawks’ final 10 points, giving lie, at least for this night, to the notion that he’s a small-game player. And now the team almost nobody liked 10 days ago is within 48 minutes of the Eastern Conference semis. It’s a team that has profited against the one worthy opponent it proved it could handle this regular season, but that’s part of the charm of the postseason. Sometimes you get a break.
Credit the Hawks for taking their break and wringing three victories from it. a fourth should be forthcoming, but here we emphasize “should.” because these are the Hawks, and they’re a strange crew. They’re so strange the 50-win Magic haven’t yet found a way to handle them.
By mark Bradley

JENN STERGER SAYS “I AM NOT A GOLD-DIGGER”
JENN STERGER SAYS “I AM NOT a GOLD-DIGGER”: The former new York Jets have agreed to host the game that incorrect pictures and * phone message by Brett Favre said in an interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos that she is not a “gold digger” and “did not create a dime “out of the scandal.” I did not create a coin out anything in this position at all, “said Jenn Sterger at the consultation that will air on” good Morning America “on Tuesday and Wednesday and “Nightline” on Tuesday evening.
“Not by the pictures. No Favre. I never wanted to pursue anyone. It was never a goal of mine. I’m not a gold digger. the only way I had to create my profit was this time fully to just have a job. “In December, the NFL settled, it is the probe Favre through the ticket him fifty $ 000 fine for failed to cooperate with the process.
The NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell ordered could not resolve Favre violated conferences acquired personal politics based on the evidence available. Detectives were assay whether Favre sent inappropriate contents and pictures unfairly Sterger in 2008 when some worked for the Jets.
“you understand, I assay was to go to work. Do my job, “said ABC Sterger.”But how are you presumed to content on the news when you new? It has been difficult. It was awkward. Does anyone think the Ny Jets will make the playoffs in 09-10 season?
I personally think they might not but i'm a jets fan so i'm hoping they will i atleast think they will have a winning season, what do you guys thinik?
probly if nothing happens to any of the better players on the team early on in the season
i highly doubt it, they had a good chance last year with favre, and brady out of the division. but… i just dont see it happening sowry :3
theres always a chance
You never know with rookies. Sanchez if he plays can be 30x better than brady (even though thats almost impossible) but you never know – its football. nobody knew Brady was going to be this good and look at him..
he can lead the team to the playoffs but he needs help too from the line and wr positions not to mention the rb and defense
no, I don't think they are ready for that.
The Jets missed the playoffs by 1 game last year.
Mark Sanchez should become a great QB,
so, if the Jets take care of their boy, and no injuries
occur the Jets should make the playoffs.
Wait!
The Bills- Trent Edwards and T.O
Patriots- Brady, and Moss and the newbee
Dolphins- Surprise,surprise
Jets-
No, the Jets won't make it. unless the Patriots drop the ball.
Possible? yes. Probable? no.
Im gonna do better than answer that question im gonna break down the entire AFC East
Patriots take home first Place again…Even though Barady is Coming off a season ending injury he is still Tom Brady and i believe he will have a good season with a 30 TD minimum.for this team the offense isnt the problem. if they have a problem its on defense in their secondary with players getting up there in terms of age. the line is set with Vince Wilfork Eating up blockers in the middle. and the line backers lead by second year middle linebacker Jerrard Mayo should be a strength.
In second Place i have the Dolphins. the defending shamps dont have what it takes offensively to repeat but i cant see the Quarterbackless Jets ursurping them for second place. the offense looks to be efficient if not flashy except in moments where the wildcat comes into play which could be more interesting with West Virginia Product Pat White taking the Snaps. the deffense looks to be no better than last year but no worse.
I have the jets taking third place in the division because of one thing and one thing only. ok two things they cant support Rookie QB Mark Sanchez with the WR's Matt Ryan had last year or the punishing run game the ravens utilized in helping Joe Flacco. the Jets lack both those things and the defense looks to improve with new additions ILB Bart Scott and SS Jim leonard and new head coach Rex Ryan. Despite this the jets defense wont immediately improve to top 5 level just like that.
In fourth place in th AFC East i Have the Bills. the addition of TO really does nothing to help Developing QB Trent Edwards who had a capable #1 Guy in Lee Evans. That and RB Marshawn Lynch's suspension put this team in a dificult situations.
no. They lost Laveraneus Coles and didn't replace him. They lost Brett Favre and it's going to be a work in progress with Mark Sanchez as the season progresses. Their offense has lost it's spunk and the defense is mediocre. 6-10 season.
They have a chance and a new coach.
Really have to wait to week 8 to see who is going to be in the race to the end, however. %

NCAA tournament: Your Thursday viewing guide
(CBS/AP)
This guide was written by the CBSSports.com Eye on College Basketball staff.
Thursday begins the best four days of sports television viewing of the year. from noon until night fall on Sunday, nonstop hoops action hits the television set and true fans know that our attention can be placed in no other endeavor. Those of us experienced from the past know that it is a marathon, not a sprint. Racing out to an early start and consuming games with friends, food and other spirits can make what should be four full days of action, end up in early evening crashes that do no one any good. Thus it is important to plan a schedule as to how you will attack the greatest four days in sports television viewing.
This year, planning is even more important than in the past. because of the new CBS/Turner deal, every game will be available on your home cable package at any point. this will revolutionize your tournament experience and give you the chance to catch all of the action at any point. But it will also raise the possibility of sensory overload if you don’t attack the day with a plan. Thus I will give you a guide to each day’s action here on CBSSports.com, to maximize your enjoyment and minimize your headache.
NOON:
The action begins at 12:15 pm in Tampa, as West Virginia takes on Clemson (CBS). this is a good early focus of your attention, if for no other reason than to get some chuckles at the “dress” apparel Bobby Huggins is using for his 2011 tournament debut. Stay with this game until 12:40 pm and then flip the channel over to Butler vs old Dominion (TruTV), one of the best games of the day and a battle of talented mid-major powers.
CBSSports.com: East region analysis
1 PM
We are still rolling with Butler-Old Dominion, only pausing to hear whatever funny comments Charles Barkley might make at halftime of the West Virginia game. At 1:40 pm, Louisville takes on Morehead State (TBS) in a game that could end up being the first major potential upset of the day. Make sure to watch the tip of this game, just to get a glimpse of Morehead State’s Kenneth Faried, the nation’s leading rebounder and a future NBA first round pick.
CBSSports.com: Southwest region analysis
2 pm
This is where it starts to get confusing. you need to go back to CBS to see the end of the West Virginia-Clemson game, which is likely to go down to the wire. As that game is ending, Temple will tip versus Penn State (TNT). this is the first completely missable game of the day and should be your priority only if you live alone. As soon as WVU and Clemson finish, go back and catch the end of Butler and ODU, to watch the late game heroics of Shelvin Mack. When that game ends, it’s time to flip to Kentucky vs Princeton (CBS), which will tip at 2:45.
CBSSports.com: West region analysis
3 pm
You have a chance to breathe for the next 30 minutes or so as you keep partial track of Louisville-Morehead State and the UK-Princeton games. Pittsburgh begins against UNC-Asheville at 3:10 pm (Tru TV), but like with Penn State and Temple, can be but far on the backburner and might even be a good chance to call your mother, who you don’t talk to nearly enough.
CBSSports.com: Southeast region analysis
4 pm
If Penn State and Temple hasn’t bored you to tears, watch the final minutes while preparing for potentially the most exciting game of the afternoon, Vanderbilt vs Richmond at 4:10 (TBS). Kevin Stallings may have the most underrated team in the tournament but also has a history of losing to lesser teams in March. With the only other game to start this hour being San Diego State vs Northern Colorado (TNT), Vanderbilt vs Richmond can be your focus until the evening sessions begin.
5 pm
While watching Vanderbilt and Richmond, explain to your significant other that you do have time to have dinner with her/him for 45 minutes between 6:15 and 7 pm. say this with a smile and a look of understanding that lets him/her know that while you do love them, priorities are priorities. plus you can even suggest that the fact you are leaving during the San Diego State/Northern Colorado game showcases how much you love her/him. Just don’t also add that it is the worst game of the day.
7 pm
With four games tipping this hour, it is now upon you to decide which game will hold your interest. Florida goes up against UC Santa Barbara at 6:50 (TBS), which is only interesting if you are an emo kid with an affection for the stylings of the long-haired Chandler Parsons. BYU plays Wofford and gives you a chance to drool a bit over the Jimmer show at 7:15 pm (CBS). UCONN plays Bucknell at 7:20 pm (TNT), which won’t matter unless Kemba Walker doesn’t make the team bus. Thus your primary focus should be on Wisconsin and Belmont at 7:30 (Tru TV), which is the best chance to get a shocker in the evening sessions. no game is a bigger contrast of styles and TruTV may see record ratings as it goes to its climax.
8 pm
Flip back and forth between the best games, pausing at times to make sure your family members are still alive and haven’t left you lying in your own pool of saliva on the couch. also try to watch any interplay between Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Greg Anthony and Seth Davis, while wondering just how much they have to be making fun of Seth when the cameras are off. “Come on guys….just give me back my notes….please…Greg Gumbel never used to do this!”
LATE NIGHT
As the final games of the night begin, be prepared to use the remote heavily. all four games have potential for excitement and the schedule makers did none of us any favors by bumping them all in the last session. 9:20 pm will see Michigan State go against UCLA (TBS) in the biggest name matchup of the first round. I think if the Spartans win this one, Tom Izzo could have another late tournament run in him making this game will be fascinating from Tampa. Two teams from the extreme different poles of the country face off at 9:45 pm as St. John’s goes up against Gonzaga (CBS). Steve Lavin and mark Few combined have under five strands of hair move during the course of a day and will play an entertaining offensive game in Denver. Cincinnati and Missouri tip off at 9:50 pm (TNT), in the battle of teams with very little national respect from the pundits. and the final game of the night is between Kansas State and Utah State at 10 pm (Tru TV), two teams that have the potential to make a deep run or flameout in round one. all four matchups are good and all four could have close finishes, meaning the order of importance will solely be dictated by score. this is the time of night when a person should have on the CBSSports.com live chat to know where the action is at any given point.

American police procedural dramas doesn’t really get any better than this, especially when a television series which tackles about how police solves a crime is filmed more humane, focusing more on the offender than the crime itself. I think it’s wonderful, due to the fact that they give a bird’s eye view on criminals as human beings, not on the crime committed, like they’re just subjects. like patients in the hospital or hospice care center that are treated as humans with heart, not as just patients who are sick. Answer time: TruTV, First Four danger and Final Four surprise
DAYTON, Ohio — the NCAA tournament starts tonight on TruTV.
so the answer to your first question is 246.
Nikola Vucevic could pose a problem for Georgetown if the Trojans get that far.(AP) you want to see Texas-San Antonio vs. Alabama State and Clemson vs. UAB, tune to channel 246 on DirecTV. That’s Two. four. six. I’ve said those numbers 194,000 times over the past three days, and I’m prepared to say them another 40,000 or 50,000 between now and tip-off. I might forget my parents’ birthdays, where I put my wallet, where I parked my car (every time I park my car) and lots of other important things. But I will never forget for the rest of my life that TruTV is channel 246 on DirecTV, and I hope you never forget, too. so go ahead and spend a few seconds etching that into your memory.
got it?
Now let’s get ready for March Madness.
you ask the questions, I’ll provide the answers.
Can any of the first four teams win a game once they’re in the main bracket?
not the 16 seeds. Those automatic qualifiers are automatic losers come Thursday and Friday against No. 1 Pittsburgh and No. 1 Ohio State. But the winner of Clemson-UAB and the winner of USC-VCU can absolutely win a second game because the UAB-Clemson winner plays West Virginia and the USC-VCU winner plays Georgetown, and West Virginia and Georgetown have shown, at various times, that they’re capable of losing to almost anybody. in fact, I’ll take the USC-VCU winner over Georgetown — especially if the winner is USC because I became a fan of Nikola Vucevic during a trip to California a few weeks back, and I think he’s good enough to punish Georgetown’s interior players. A dominant performance from Vucevic combined with a shaky effort from Chris Wright in his presumed return to the Georgetown lineup would put Kevin O’Neill into this weekend’s third round, which would be quite an achievement considering he spent last weekend suspended by his athletic director over an incident with an Arizona fan at a hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Enough with the first four. what about the Final four. you sticking with Wisconsin?
There’s no going back now. My Wisconsin-to-the-Final-Four pick made headlines, and I’ve converted at least one Twitter follower over the past 24 hours. Is it risky? Yes. Could Belmont catch the Badgers on Thursday? sure. But I wanted to take a chance in at least one regional, and the Southeast regional seemed like the place to do it. the No. 1 seed in the Southeast is Pittsburgh, and I’ve liked Pitt all season. But I just watched the Panthers lose in the quarterfinals of their league tournament to a team that finished in the bottom half of the big East, so Pitt is clearly beatable. beyond that, the No. 2 seed is a Florida team I’ve long believed is good and solid but not great. the No. 3 seed is a diminished BYU team. the No. 5 seed is a Kansas State team that closed strong but was unranked much of the season. so why not take the fourth-seeded Badgers with a great coach (Bo Ryan) and two great players (Jordan Taylor and Jon Leuer)? Again, I know it’s risky. (And I know they scored 33 points in their last game.) But projecting Butler and Michigan State to make the Final four would’ve been deemed similarly risky last Selection Sunday, and you remember how that unfolded, right?
Any storylines you like from Thursday or Friday games?
the Xavier-Marquette game features two coaches in Chris Mack and Buzz Williams who will likely have huge offers arriving soon from other schools, which is always tough for fans because they know every win could enhance the odds of their coach leaving. meantime, UNLV-Illinois has the Rebels’ Lon Kruger coaching against a school he once coached, and Memphis-Arizona has the Tigers’ Josh Pastner coaching against a school he once attended … and against a player he nearly signed.
NCAA tournament Column
Gary Parrish Some random thoughts and wild predictions about the Field of 68. Bracket overview >> more Bracket Science Related links Video
that player is Derrick Williams.
He’s a CBSSports.com first Team All-American.
“We had him!” Pastner told me Monday while revisiting the recruiting battle between Arizona and Memphis that took place after USC let Williams out of his national letter of intent when Tim Floyd abruptly resigned. “The screensaver on his phone was the Memphis logo when he came on his visit, and I thought we were getting him. I told our guys, ‘We cannot let him leave here without committing.’”
But Williams had already promised his mother he’d visit Arizona, regardless.
so he left Memphis without committing and visited the Tucson campus.
Williams then opted to remain closer to his California home.
“Why in the heck would USC release him within the conference?” Pastner said with a laugh. “I don’t know. I blame everything on USC. … But Sean [Miller] has done a great job with him. I voted him National Player of the Year.”
So you really don’t think the big East will have a Final four representative?
I do not. What’s more is that I just realized my bracket doesn’t even have a big East team in the Elite eight. My Elite eight has three big ten schools (Ohio State, Purdue, Wisconsin), two ACC schools (Duke, North Carolina) and one each from the big 12 (Kansas), SEC (Florida) and Mountain West (San Diego State). the discouraging thing is that each of the 11 big East representatives must lose their first, second or third game for me to be right, which seems unlikely just because. But what’s encouraging is that I completed my bracket off the top of my head five minutes after I saw it, and seven of my Elite eight schools are among the eight most likely teams to win the national championship, according to Sportsbook.com.
the lone exception?
But we’ve been over that already.
