New iPhone 4, Apple TV and Magic Trackpad at WWDC 2010

iPhone 4, Apple TV and Magic Trackpad at WWDC 2010 – Today is the much-awaited Apple event, the World Wide Developer Conference 2010. and there are over 5000 people attended the event. and here are some of the much-anticipated products to be announced today at WWDC 2010.

Many tech bloggers said that today’s WWDC 2010 is going to be a great event for Apple fanboys out there. Because today, three new products are expected to be announced. One of these is the iPhone 4 – which was earlier leaked in the web. We all know some of the information about the iPhone 4 because of the leaked photos about it but today, WWDC is going to announce it, officially.

Another product that is expected to be announced in WWDC 2010 is the refresh of Apple TV. a lot of tech bloggers said that there will be a refresh product of Apple TV – a new, redesigned Apple TV boasting an iPhone-like physical feature but without the screen. and the last product that just leaked recently and expected to be announced right now is the Magic Trackpad.

Those wanting to play a bit of virtual golf should fire up the Xbox 360 and download the demo for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11.

It’s Gold-exclusive at the moment, so Silver folks should get it next week or so.

This demo lets you try out a Ryder Cup match with three holes on the Celtic Manor Resort and the Liberty National course.

You can also earn in-game experience points that can be used to upgrade your golfer stats when you share the demo with others using the new messaging system.

The points can then be redeemed when you purchase the retail version of the game.

It’s likely that the demo will hit the US end of PSN later today, but as of this post, Sony has yet to update it.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 is set for release this summer on iPhone, PC, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360.

54% Of Women More Likely To Date Men With iPhones, Says iPhone Retailer

Straight from the bullshit department: a recent survey of 1500 women has found that men who own an iPhone are more attractive than those who do not. Women were particularly repulsed by men who own a Palm Pre, the study also found.

Ok, I made that second part up, but then again the first part was completely made up, too.

According to the survey, which was held by Phones 4u, an online retailer of iPhones (and other phones) and thus utterly neutral any way you look at it, 54% of women stated that they would be more likely to date a man if he owns an iPhone.

Which model, remains unclear.

Update: this survey may never be actually held, or at least not by Phones 4u, the company now claims. Read the entire background here.

One respondent, the company says, even suggested “if he has an iPhone then he’s obviously intelligent and well-off.”

37% of those quizzed said that owning an iPhone makes a man seem more reliable, to which nearly all went on to say that a second date would be likely.

I have an iPhone 3GS, so clearly, I can verify roughly 98% of all positive claims about men who own an iPhone. (Also, sorry ladies, but I’m happily married).

But let’s not let the statistics get in the way of a good story, and juicy quotes:

“There’s just something about a man who’s good with computers that makes him more trustworthy,” said Lucy, a 23-year-old primary school teacher from London. “If he’s got the cash for an iPhone then he must be very good at his job, too.”

What is now playing on Twitter? App makes nowplaying tweets easy

Earlier today we posted some news about the top Twitter Trends over the past week, which was thanks to the information gathered by what The Trend. this showed that certain traditions stayed popular, and some celebrities were uncontested.

Today What The Trend is reporting that #nowplaying – also known as #np – has made it as their top trend, which can be seen on their week in review page. this has updated a few times today, so we guess its now updated in real time.

What is now playing on Twitter? this is when Twitter users tweet the movies they are watching or the music they are listening to. being a weekend, we guess most users are relaxing before Monday.

One app that helps “Now Playing” is called Jingle! and Product Reviews just posted some details on version 1.1 for iPhone and iPod Touch. this app lets the user Tweet about different types of media. this could be an album title or artist from the music you’re playing, read more about this here.

Not even three months after its monumental release, Apple’s iphone is making really big news not only in the traditional media but also in the World Wide Web. iphone news have recently become more than just about features of the touchscreen-phone iPod. Now, the iphone owners are more than happy with the rebate after crying foul over the price cut.

Over the past few months of iphone news history, it is easy to note that Apple iphone is not just hype nor hysteria.
