Anyone else think Victoria Justice insists upon herself?

I mean her acting looks like she actually tries to look like shes not acting, but she looks so full of full of herself. I'm not hating or anything, honestly. I love iCarly, and other Dan Schneider shows and all of his actors, but i really can't stand Victoria Justice. Is anyone else like this?

If someone on Victorious is too full of herself, I'd say it's most likely Ariana Grande, the actress who plays Cat. She seems nice… well, she is, but she can seem so blasé sometimes. ;)
Victoria Justice? She can sing, she's posted a few videos of her singing (ex. Forget You). Yeah, she might not be as skilled as some of her cast-mates, but I like it that she's not perfect.
Sometimes her acting annoys me a little bit, and maybe that's just how her character is supposed to act. I really don't know. Let's not jump to conclusions about her character traits. The day we meet her in person, we'll find out.
I don't know about the tweeting thing since I don't have an account on Twitter.

;D;D:D;o)

i just HATE how her show victorious is all about her singing when she CANT sing at all.

icarly is ok but i loved the old shows like drake and josh and the amanda show

i haven't noticed that in her acting but in real life she seems full of herself like the fact that she never tweets her fans

Anyone else think Victoria Justice insists upon herself?

INTERVIEW-Golf-Fresh approach by Donald in quest to be the best

    12:00, Tuesday 22 February 2011

MARANA, Arizona, Feb 22 (Reuters) – Britain’s Luke Donald, agenuine ‘Renaissance (RNS.NZnews) man’, has cast off much of the old for thenew in a concerted effort this year to enhance his pursuit ofexcellence.

Having set his sights on reaching the top of the worldrankings, the straight-hitting Englishman took a longer breakthan usual during the off-season to work hard on his game.

He also joined the social network Twitter earlier thismonth, a move he believes will help him shake off the widespreadperception that he is a dull plodder — both out on the courseand also in life.

“My expectations this year are very high,” Donald toldReuters ahead of Wednesday’s first round of the WGC (OGK2.MEnews) -Accenture (Berlin: CSA.BEnews)Match Play Championship, where he will open his campaign againstAmerican Charley Hoffman.

“With a little bit of a shake-up in the world rankings, it’sbecome more of an interesting race to try and get to that numberone spot. it seems like it’s a possibility now.

“When Tiger (Woods) was so far ahead it didn’t really seemthat likely but that’s obviously a goal of mine now.”

Woods was dethroned by Britain’s Lee Westwood in November (Berlin: NBXB.BEnews)after a reign of more than five years at the top and has sinceslipped to third with Germany’s Martin Kaymer also above him.

Donald is ranked ninth and knows that he can climb highersimply by achieving greater consistency.

“Look (Munich: 867225news) at Lee Westwood,” the 33-year-old said. “He got tonumber one through being very consistent, and he hasn’t won aton of events.

“Competing and having chances to win in majors is always atthe top of my goals, but it’s all about continuing to get betterevery year.”

Asked what reaching the game’s pinnacle would mean to him,Donald replied: “It would be amazing to get to the top. Wesacrifice a lot of time working to get better.”

    CONSISTENT PERFORMER

A winner of three titles on the European Tour and two on thePGA Tour where he plays most of his golf, Donald has become oneof the most consistent performers in the game.

Despite not winning a tournament on the U.S. circuit lastyear, he recorded seven top-10 finishes to end the seasonseventh in the money list with earnings of $3.66 million.

“Overall, last year was very consistent,” he said. “I had 10top-threes around the world and I won in Madrid. the onlydisappointment was I didn’t win again in the U.S. and I wouldhave loved to have been a little bit closer in the majors.”

After completing a hectic but successful 2010 campaign,Donald decided to spend more time during the off-seasontinkering with his swing.

“My short game was great last year but there was definitelya little bit more inconsistency off the tee and with some of myiron shots that I needed to address,” he said.

“Hopefully some of these changes will help that. It’s sohard to work on any kind of changes when you’re playing week-inand week-out so it was important to do something different.”

Donald, an avid painter who has his own range of wines, isone of the most articulate players in the game but he has alwayscome across publicly as relatively subdued.

since joining the Twitter ranks, however, he believes thatimage will change.

“I guess on the course I am seen as someone pretty quiet asI go about my business and I don’t easily show my emotions topeople who I don’t really know,” Donald said with a smile.

“But I am a very passionate family man and I love hangingout with friends and having a good time every now and then.

“Twitter is a great way to show my personality a little bitmore,” said the Englishman, who earned a degree in art theoryand practice at Northwestern University. “I think it’s great.”

What team should I sign with? Toronto bluejays or the New york mets?

The Toronto Blue jays have contacted me and same with the New York Mets. they both said I would be in the minors for a little bit, for like a couple months. I play first base so I might have a better chance of starting with the jays because of Overbay slumping. So what team do YOU think I should choose?

Facebook Launches Places With Support of Foursquare and Gowalla

Facebook tonight presented its long-awaited Facebook Places product to a large gathering of press at the company’s Palo Alto, Calif. office. Facebook CEO mark Zuckerberg admitted the company had been working on the product for “a little bit more than a few months.” Though much of the functionality duplicates that offered by location startups Gowalla and Foursquare, representatives from both companies swallowed their pride and spoke at the event about the merits of using the new Facebook Places API.

The product has three goals, Zuckerberg said:

      • Helping people share where they are
      • Helping users see who’s around them
      • Helping users see what’s going on and discover new places

Places launches tonight on touch.facebook.com for “advanced mobile browsers” and on the company’s new iPhone app. Dedicated BlackBerry and Android applications don’t yet have the functionality.

“Places is not about broadcasting your location to the world; it’s about sharing where you are with your friends,” said Places product manager Michael Sharon.

Sharon showed off Place pages that display recent activity from friends and other people who have checked in. Check-ins show up as status messages with a little pin logo similar to those seen on Google Maps, and are published to friends’ walls if they are tagged. Places pull local business data through a business partnership with Localeze.

As for privacy, users are allowed to disable location tagging completely, and the default for Places check-ins is friends only. You can only tag your friends, and you’re notified as soon as you’re tagged. Developers will be able to use Places data through an API starting tomorrow.

Gowalla CTO Scott Raymond testified on stage about his company’s integration with Facebook, pitching it as an opportunity to expand and to get broader distribution for Gowalla’s pretty stamps. (Right now the relationship is only one way; Gowalla check-ins will be syndicated to Facebook, but Facebook check-ins won’t be syndicated to Gowalla.) Foursquare VP of mobile and partnerships Holger Luedorf talked up his company’s “pioneering” efforts in the space, and its value-add on top of Facebook Places with game mechanics and rewards from local merchants.

Yelp director of mobile products Eric Singley said his company is building a way to pull in Facebook friends’ Places check-ins on top of Yelp reviews. Booyah CEO Keith Lee debuted a new location-based gaming iPhone app called InCrowd that he said the company had built in the last three weeks and would be available soon.

Facebook VP product Chris Cox cited sociologist Ray Oldenburg’s fear that technology will take us out of our community because the only places people go are home and work. Cox said the promise of Places is that technology can pull us away from the television and to the bar. “Technology does not need to estrange us from one another,” he said. if that wasn’t sappy enough, Cox then talked up the idea of a story being pinned to a physical location for years to come, so when a kid goes to the beach 20 years from now he might be alerted that it was the location of his parents’ first kiss.

Places has no monetization features yet, and check-ins are rolling out in the U.S. only to start. Business owners can claim places as their own, which makes them Facebook Pages.

'Idol' exit Q&A: Alex Lambert on stage fright and the song he wish he sang

Soft-spoken Alex Lambert, 19, may not have been the most theatrical of performers. But he did have that voice. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to get him into the Top 12. He talked to EW after elimination night.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: How’s your morning so far?
ALEX LAMBERT: it hasn’t hit me yet that I’m off the show. It’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I thought I was going to be a lot more upset.

Were you surprised you were cut?
I was a little bit. At the same time, I saw it coming because I’m not much of a performer. I can see how other people were connecting with the audience. I understood what [the judges] meant when they said that I was uncomfortable on stage.

      Did you feel uncomfortable?
No, I’m just not an experienced performer. This is the first thing I’ve ever done [like this]. I don’t know where to look or anything like that. Anything I do is all me. I was never taught anything.

If you could go back in time, would you have changed your onstage persona?
I did the best I could’ve done ever because I honestly didn’t think I could handle this. I’ve had such stage fright since I was a little kid and I think I did great for how much experience I have.

So, is it safe to say that your case of stage fright has improved since being on the show?
Yeah. I didn’t even ever want to be on the stage. I’ve always had a great fear of getting up there. Just getting up there and nailing the vocals is a good accomplishment for me.

So did you join the show to face your fears?
My mom has been trying to make me do this show for a few years. This year, she pretty much made me. She said she was going to take away my phone if I didn’t audition.

You chose “Trouble,” a song that a few past contestants have performed. what made you choose it?
I had another song in mind: “Let Me love You” by Mario. It’s an R&B song, but I was going to change it up and make it my own. But it was a song a lot of people didn’t know so I went with my second choice because one of the producers was telling me, “If you do this song, you’ll get more votes.” But obviously I didn’t get enough. I wish I would’ve done the other song. I wish I didn’t listen to the producer. But I still feel like, vocally, the song I sang, I didn’t think it was bad enough for me to go home, but it is what it is.

Do the producers often chime in about songs?
They give you suggestions. They don’t tell you, “You have to sing this.”

You said you’re not a performer, so did you feel you were lucky to be making the cut week to week?
No, because a lot of the contestants aren’t the greatest singers, but they’re great performers so that’s the reason they’re still on the show. so I felt honored that I was one of those people there strictly because I had good vocals. I thought that was awesome. I never felt like I didn’t deserve to be there. I always felt like I did.

What are you up to now?
I’m probably going to go back to Texas to finish high school. I have to do that. I need to get my high school diploma before I think of anything else. I’m also going to be making music and seeing what’s out there for me. But first thing is finishing school. Ultimately, I want to influence people’s lives like I’ve been influenced with music. Listening to The Beatles and even today’s music, you hear something you like and you want to keep listening to it. I want people to be like that with my music. I want to be on the radio.
