What would you like to see added to a sports related website?

Hi,

I own a sports related website. I am keeping the design as is because it loads quickly and looks nice :) That being said,
I am looking to add new and improved features. What would you like to see added to directory, forums and articles?

The site is listed in my profile.

Does anyone have any small business ideas related to sports or sports information?

Sports is my biggest interest. I want to start a small business having something to do with sports. I don’t have money to start a sporting goods store, but want to start an online sports business. Any ideas?

News Related Web Sites Continue To Grow And Proliferate Across The Internet- Offering Breaking Headlines & Cartoon Humor

Daily news is abundant throughout the internet and up to the minute information is provided on a continual basis by so many websites, wire services and RSS feeds, it is unbelievable! This week, well respected verteran newscaster Walter Cronkite passed away at age 92 and he set the precedent for all aspects of news as we now know it and understand it!
Although Walter was a 92 year old veteran who interviewed all of the world’s top politicos, he travelled around this planet and saw more than most people would care to or want to….wars included. This is mentioned because during the time he was at the top of his career, the teletype was one of the most technological advancements in the way news was received. Now we have the world wide web conveying information at breakneck speed with second by second updates.
Mr. Cronkite adapted and unbelievably  learned technology, so that was fantastic since many elderly (even middle aged!) people avoid using the web to their advantage.  If you have a friend, neighbor or relative who you think would find using a computer for their news source and to their advantage, buy them a cheap laptop or desktop and show them the basics on how to turn the machine on, use the mouse or finger tip control and they may enjoy it. Once they get their news-fix, they can turn it off and go to do their normal routine. No one will be sitting at the television searching for a movie! The internet provides other entertainment websites to keep track of your favorite singer or actress and what they are doing, or for the sports aficionado, look up any baseball, basketball, hockey or football scores or stats by typing into one of the big search engines using your favorite search terms.  The television and radio can now be considered “old news” for getting your in depth news fix! Most news related web sites offer associated press (ap) news wire feeds that are automatically updated when a new news headline is added or updated. Many news sites compliment their  pages with a bit of humor – perhaps a daily web cartoon such as the sample offered below. Humor can otherwise add some levity to content that’s laden with bad news or political oriented structure. New websites such as http://www.newswind.info are ideal examples of news related information sites because of their easy to navigate page layout and structure.
