What are the seasons for the different high school sports? Also what sport should I try for?

I’m starting high school this year. School starts in about 2 weeks. I’ve realized that most of my friends have tried out for something, leaving less time for us all to be together. Instead of just wasting my time I’d like to try out for something too. My problem is, I’m not sure what to try out for. I’ve never really been into sports but recently thought of them to be pretty interesting and want to join in. Any suggestions? :)

It’s time yet again to take a look at the Best and Worst of area sports. The just-concluded winter season was highlighted by some outstanding teams. Mercy and Portland’s girls basketball teams, the Cromwell boys hoop team and the Xavier swimming and wrestling teams come immediately to mind.

I’m making my boyfriend a cute sports calender and I want to know when each sports season starts? Such as what month? or around what month? For all you big time sports fans. help me out.

Soccer
Basketball
Baseball
Football

Those are the basics… any other sports that fit in between those sports.

Breaking News – Lost to End in 2010 and Three More Shortened Seasons

Two months ago, ABC has announced that Lost has been renewed for a fourth season. Following this, ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson has announced that Lost will come to an end during the 2009-2010 season with a highly anticipated finale. With an average of 15 million viewers per episode, many Lost fans will most probably deem this news as something very disappointing.

Citing the words of Lost’s executive producer Damon Lindelof, he has “always envisioned Lost as a show with a beginning, middle, and end,” and that declaring that the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning serial drama is ending would imply that viewers would soon have some comfort of knowing that many unanswered questions and mysteries will finally be answered. Having this in mind, maybe Lost coming to an end isn’t such a bad idea after all.

Looking bad Lost has given its viewers some tough questions to crack, and for some time, the show has also become an endless pit of baffling story lines. But with the culmination of the popular series, viewers will finally have a huge serving of clarity and enlightenment, which will come in the form of huge discoveries and answer to the mystery that engulf the lives of the Lost characters, The Others, and other island enigmas that attracts viewers with curiosity. And having three more seasons comprising of 16 episodes seems to be sufficient enough to cover all that needs to be showcased for a satisfying Lost ending.

Lost, a thriller-drama series following the lives of a group of plane crash survivors on a tropical island in the South Pacific. Created by J.J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof and Jeffrey Lieber, the show stars Evangeline Lily as Kate Austen, Elizabeth Mitchell as Juliet Burke, Josh Holloway as James “Sawyer”

Ford, Matthew Fox as Jack Shephard, Naveen Andrews as Sayid Jarrah among others.
