UFOs’ new track over Sochi Winter Olympics sites « Nepal – the country of the Mt. Everest and the Buddha

ET seems to feel at home in southern Russia. recent unexplained lights in the sky, which have been caught on camera, are among the increasing sightings that are baffling the locals.

“The shape of these projectors made us believe that this was a flying saucer, or whatever it was it was rather large,” says Sergey Kolpikov, who has witnessed the lights in his home village in Russia’s Krasnodar region, which is preparing to host the Winter Olympics in 2014.

The Kolpikovs were the only people to film the lights and have become overnight celebrities.

The UFO tape was immediately aired on local television. the local channel TVK ran a feature story about the sighting, and posted the video on the internet.

Local reporter Aleksandr Kulik broke the story, which made a complete change from his usual fare of milk yields and regional politics. Now he is ready to take on the X-Files.

“When we shared the video on our website, people started copy-pasting it, so we got responses from at least five other eyewitnesses all over the Krasnodar region, who also spotted this particular UFO,” says Kulik.

Ufologists say the area in Russia’s south is similar to that around Roswell in new Mexico – a UFO highway filled, apparently, with alien visitors.

But some experts like Vadim Chernobrov from “Cosmosearch”, an international research group that studies UFOs, are not totally convinced about the sighting. Many can be explained, although not all of them.

“Besides the Chinese lanterns, or hot air balloons, or fakes, or atmosphere phenomena, Krasnodar region has a very high frequency of real extraterrestrial activity, almost the highest in the whole country. And in places like Sochi, which is a big city that stretches along the coast, there is of course a better chance to spot something unusual,” says Chernobrov.

So why all this interstellar traffic in the Russian South? Maybe they are getting a sneak preview of the Sochi Olympics, or maybe they just like the place. whatever it is, the truth is out there – somewhere.

    NCAA tournament: Your Thursday viewing guide

    This guide was written by the CBSSports.com Eye on College Basketball staff.

    Thursday begins the best four days of sports television viewing of the year. from noon until night fall on Sunday, nonstop hoops action hits the television set and true fans know that our attention can be placed in no other endeavor. Those of us experienced from the past know that it is a marathon, not a sprint. Racing out to an early start and consuming games with friends, food and other spirits can make what should be four full days of action, end up in early evening crashes that do no one any good. Thus it is important to plan a schedule as to how you will attack the greatest four days in sports television viewing.

    CBSSports.com: full schedule

    This year, planning is even more important than in the past. because of the new CBS/Turner deal, every game will be available on your home cable package at any point. this will revolutionize your tournament experience and give you the chance to catch all of the action at any point. But it will also raise the possibility of sensory overload if you don’t attack the day with a plan. Thus I will give you a guide to each day’s action here on CBSSports.com, to maximize your enjoyment and minimize your headache.

    NOON:

    The action begins at 12:15 pm in Tampa, as West Virginia takes on Clemson (CBS). this is a good early focus of your attention, if for no other reason than to get some chuckles at the “dress” apparel Bobby Huggins is using for his 2011 tournament debut. Stay with this game until 12:40 pm and then flip the channel over to Butler vs old Dominion (TruTV), one of the best games of the day and a battle of talented mid-major powers.

    CBSSports.com: East region analysis

    1 PM

    We are still rolling with Butler-Old Dominion, only pausing to hear whatever funny comments Charles Barkley might make at halftime of the West Virginia game. At 1:40 pm, Louisville takes on Morehead State (TBS) in a game that could end up being the first major potential upset of the day. Make sure to watch the tip of this game, just to get a glimpse of Morehead State’s Kenneth Faried, the nation’s leading rebounder and a future NBA first round pick.

    CBSSports.com: Southwest region analysis

    2 pm

    This is where it starts to get confusing. you need to go back to CBS to see the end of the West Virginia-Clemson game, which is likely to go down to the wire. As that game is ending, Temple will tip versus Penn State (TNT). this is the first completely missable game of the day and should be your priority only if you live alone. As soon as WVU and Clemson finish, go back and catch the end of Butler and ODU, to watch the late game heroics of Shelvin Mack. When that game ends, it’s time to flip to Kentucky vs Princeton (CBS), which will tip at 2:45.

    CBSSports.com: West region analysis

    3 pm

    You have a chance to breathe for the next 30 minutes or so as you keep partial track of Louisville-Morehead State and the UK-Princeton games. Pittsburgh begins against UNC-Asheville at 3:10 pm (Tru TV), but like with Penn State and Temple, can be but far on the backburner and might even be a good chance to call your mother, who you don’t talk to nearly enough.

    CBSSports.com: Southeast region analysis

    4 pm

    If Penn State and Temple hasn’t bored you to tears, watch the final minutes while preparing for potentially the most exciting game of the afternoon, Vanderbilt vs Richmond at 4:10 (TBS). Kevin Stallings may have the most underrated team in the tournament but also has a history of losing to lesser teams in March. With the only other game to start this hour being San Diego State vs Northern Colorado (TNT), Vanderbilt vs Richmond can be your focus until the evening sessions begin.

    5 pm

    While watching Vanderbilt and Richmond, explain to your significant other that you do have time to have dinner with her/him for 45 minutes between 6:15 and 7 pm. say this with a smile and a look of understanding that lets him/her know that while you do love them, priorities are priorities. plus you can even suggest that the fact you are leaving during the San Diego State/Northern Colorado game showcases how much you love her/him. Just don’t also add that it is the worst game of the day.

    7 pm

    With four games tipping this hour, it is now upon you to decide which game will hold your interest. Florida goes up against UC Santa Barbara at 6:50 (TBS), which is only interesting if you are an emo kid with an affection for the stylings of the long-haired Chandler Parsons. BYU plays Wofford and gives you a chance to drool a bit over the Jimmer show at 7:15 pm (CBS). UCONN plays Bucknell at 7:20 pm (TNT), which won’t matter unless Kemba Walker doesn’t make the team bus. Thus your primary focus should be on Wisconsin and Belmont at 7:30 (Tru TV), which is the best chance to get a shocker in the evening sessions. no game is a bigger contrast of styles and TruTV may see record ratings as it goes to its climax.

    8 pm

    Flip back and forth between the best games, pausing at times to make sure your family members are still alive and haven’t left you lying in your own pool of saliva on the couch. also try to watch any interplay between Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Greg Anthony and Seth Davis, while wondering just how much they have to be making fun of Seth when the cameras are off. “Come on guys….just give me back my notes….please…Greg Gumbel never used to do this!”

    LATE NIGHT

    As the final games of the night begin, be prepared to use the remote heavily. all four games have potential for excitement and the schedule makers did none of us any favors by bumping them all in the last session. 9:20 pm will see Michigan State go against UCLA (TBS) in the biggest name matchup of the first round. I think if the Spartans win this one, Tom Izzo could have another late tournament run in him making this game will be fascinating from Tampa. Two teams from the extreme different poles of the country face off at 9:45 pm as St. John’s goes up against Gonzaga (CBS). Steve Lavin and mark Few combined have under five strands of hair move during the course of a day and will play an entertaining offensive game in Denver. Cincinnati and Missouri tip off at 9:50 pm (TNT), in the battle of teams with very little national respect from the pundits. and the final game of the night is between Kansas State and Utah State at 10 pm (Tru TV), two teams that have the potential to make a deep run or flameout in round one. all four matchups are good and all four could have close finishes, meaning the order of importance will solely be dictated by score. this is the time of night when a person should have on the CBSSports.com live chat to know where the action is at any given point.

      Breaking News: 2 Major TNA Stars Ask For Release?

      At Monday night’s triple Impact tapings in Orlando, former NWA champion Ron “The Truth” Killings and Monty Brown requested their releases from TNA. Terry Taylor tried to convince both to remain with the company, and at this point, nothing has been decided reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

      Brown’s contract is set to expire soon, and he works as a personal trainer outside the wrestling business. As noted here before, WWE would certainly be interested if he became a free agent.

      Killings would have options as well, as “The Truth” is over in Mexico and is wanted by AAA and Vampiro’s new promotion, Revolution X Wrestling. There is also a rumor that WWE may consider bringing back too Cool (Scotty too Hotty and Brian Lawler), and would entertain the possibility of Killings joining the group. Killings isn’t being pushed in TNA, and is upset that he was asked to job to A1 at a recent television taping.

      After two seasons of watching Terrell Owens reveal his doggish ways on television, we hear the #2 biggest attention whore in the NFL (yes OchoCinco is #1) has resorted to paying a price for pu$$y. but it’s not what you think.

      Guess Kita and Mo’ weren’t getting the job done fast enough, because Terrell has reportedly taken up with a high-priced matchmaking service:

      Terrell Owens has tapped a matchmaking service to help him find love. Outspoken Owens, who’s been linked to model Jessica White, has hired Kelleher International to help find a main squeeze who looks like bodacious Kim Kardashian — “who I happen to think is gorgeous,” he said. Kelleher, run by mother and daughter team Jill and Amber Kelleher, has 18 international offices and charges clients anywhere from $15,000 to $150,000.

      SMH. We don’t understand why he even bothers.

      this guy whines on TV episode after episode about how he’s f*cked over every relationship he’s ever had. Every time we turn around he’s trying to make up with some ex and meanwhile messing that up with a new chick.

      Kris Jenner isn’t letting him within ten feet of Kim, so matchmaking service or not — T.O. is S.O.L. when it comes to those cakes.

      Besides, why pay all that cash for matchmaking services when the whole world can see plainly enough he’s already found his ideal match.

      Why can i not recieve sky sports news on my freeview television?

      I have just bought a new television (Alba 19″ from Argos) with freeview built in. I have set it up and I have all the channels except sky sports news which i watch on another television. I have checked the freeview website and it says it is available for me to get but on guide it is not there can anyone help me on how to tune that one channel in and how to find it. thanks in advance..

      LOST and HEROES are connected after last night!!!

      Well, it finally has happened. LOST on ABC has joined in connection with HEROES on NBC. I know that is JUST an “easter egg,” but that is cool enough!

      Both the producers from LOST and HEROES came together a little while ago and said that “…LOST could have a connection with HEROES…” Tim Kring was joking, Damon Lindelof was NOT!

      WELL, we have seen/heard it now!!! LOST planted an easter egg in HEROES, only a few select LOST fans who search and hunt for such things will find it!

      I think I am one of the first! not to be COCKY or anything!

      But, remember the scene where Nathan and Simone are talking about “going public” with what they can do. Nathan says something VERY interesting!

      Did you catch it! Well if you didn’t, rewatch the episode, and look for this quote:

      “…if people knew what we were capable of, they would drop a collective brick…because that’s what I would do, I’d round us all up, stick us in a LAB, on some island in the middle of the ocean.”

      Referencing LOST! “…LAB…some island…middle of the ocean…”

      I noticed a similarity between the way they focus on the characters of Jack and Peter.
      In both shows, you can’t exactly say that there’s a main character, since everyone is focused upon, but if one had to choose a main character for the shows, it’d be those two guys, wouldn’t it?

      The series begins focusing on them and the …”burden” of the shows (i.e, surviving on the island, stopping the bomb) seems to be laid more heavily on them than the other characters.

      Oh, yeah! they keep on coming.

      Matt and Ana Lucia are both cops who ended up turning in their badges.
      LOST spoiler:

      Libby and Nikki are two blonde girls who were in the psych ward.

      Claire and Nikki both had to raise sons when the father left
      This is just a theory for the Lost part, but:
      Two characters are unexpectedly Claire : Claire, Nathan (and Peter); there’s a theory that Jack and the LOST Claire are brother and sister
      There is a scene with an intimidating Asian business-man father : Mr. Nakamura , Mr. Paik (Sun’s father)
      And those two Asian businessmen are theorized to have something to do with the government conspiracy of the show : Mr. Nakamura ( HRG accomplice?) Mr. Paik, ( DHARMA exec.?)
      The two youngest boys have unexpected special abilities: Micah and Walt

      They both have something to do with time travel and offer a glimpse into the future:
      Hiro’s teleporting and Isaac’s paintings, Desmond’s visions

      Both have references to famous ” Star” sci-fi franchises: Hiro ” like Star Trek”…. Hurley” Dude, that was like a .. Jedi moment…”
