      How many horses compete in sports worldwide?

      I am looking for stats on horses competing in sports, I have found a lot of information on thoroughbred racing but little on Eventing, Polo, Endurance, Rodeo etc. If possible I also trying to find information on breeding of these species. I am trying to get a sense of what horse sports happen where in the world?
